It's been a while since I've been sick, but here I am, suffering. Well, that's an exaggeration, only throat is suffering. Today was one of those WFH days. Not just to keep the office clean, but because my voice is only at about 20% functionality. I sound like Ned from South Park:

Sleeping is terrible, I hate taking any type of medicine, and the fatigue sucks. I am doing my best though to get this over with. Here are the usual steps:

• Drink plenty of fluids
• Teas with lemon and honey
• Multiple day naps
• Binge watching old 1980's TV shows (this time it's 21 Jump Street)
• Dayquil (only as a last resort, usually only happens about 15% of the time)
• Try and nap
• Play video games

Playing the getting sick game usually just means waiting it out. Unfortunately when I'm under the weather, this is nearly impossible for me due to my lack of patience. It does look like I need to add "blogging" to my list of items that I need to work on when I'm sick. It's an easy distraction while waiting for me to snap out of it. I figure it's a better use of my time than watching Johnny Depp and Richard Greeco bust high school students for "weed" during the "War on Drugs" Regan era.
